1. No Refund Policy After Project Start
By confirming a service with Metropolitown, you agree to our strict no refund policy once work has started. This includes any stage of concept creation, research, design, strategy, or content development. Due to the nature of our services (Customized, Digital, or Time-based), no refunds will be granted once Production or Development has started.
2. Non-Refundable Deposits
All projects require a minimum 60% non-refundable deposit before work begins. This deposit secures your booking and compensates for time, planning, and resources allocated. This deposit will not be refunded under any circumstance, including: – Client cancellation – Change of mind – Lack of communication or delayed approvals – Project paused or abandoned by client
3. Final Payments and Outstanding Balances
The remaining 40% is due upon delivery or project completion, even if the client fails to provide final approvals or feedback within a reasonable time (7 days after notification of completion). Clients may not delay or refuse final payment based on subjective dissatisfaction if the project follows the agreed-upon brief, scope, and terms. Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in: – Service suspension – Legal recovery actions – 5%/month Late fees or penalties as allowed by New York law
4. Project Scope and Revisions
Work is delivered based on the scope outlined in your initial invoice or contract. Minor revisions may be included depending on your package. Any requests outside of the original scope will be subject to additional fees, a new quote and timelines.
5. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any dispute, we encourage you to contact us at billing@metropolitown.com so we can review your concerns. If unresolved, all disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, and settled through arbitration or small claims court as applicable.
6. Service Interruption or Delay
Metropolitown is not responsible for delays caused by: – Incomplete information from the client – Delayed responses – Force majeure (e.g. illness, internet outages, legal restrictions) In such cases, refunds are not applicable.
7. Digital Product Policy
Any logos, websites, visuals, or strategies delivered digitally are considered final once sent. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for any digital product or intellectual work once delivered or accessed.
8. Client Agreement
By hiring Metropolitown, making a payment, or using any of our services, you confirm that: – You have read and accepted this Refund & Returns Policy – You understand your financial and contractual commitment – You waive any right to initiate a chargeback or refund outside of this agreement
